Study Overview
The Potential Development Area (PDA) and the Study Area
The
Potential Development Area (PDA) of Yuen Long South is located to
the south of Yuen Long New Town, and largely bounded by Yuen Long
Highway and Kung Um Road. To the south is the Tai Lam Country Park.
The PDA includes two main parts, one in the Tong Yan San Tsuen area
and the other in the area along Kung Um Road. The PDA is
predominantly occupied by open storage yards, warehouses, rural
industrial workshops intermingled with rural settlements,
residential uses, agricultural land and livestock farms.
