This is the Draft Recommended Outline Development Plan for Yuen Long South showing the land use proposal.

 

This figure shows the land use budget of the Draft Recommended Outline Development Plan including 36% residential and mixed use, 7% commercial, storage and workshop, 42% public facilities and 15% open space. The proposed population is about 85,000 including existing population of about 2,300. The proposed number of flats is about 27,700. The housing mix of 60% public housing, including public rental housing and subsidised housing, to 40% private housing. There will be about 193,300 sqm of commercial floor area, about 10 hectares of land for storage and workshop, and about 2 hectares of land for open storage. The job opportunities will be about 10,800.
